Didyme was born several years after her brother Aro. Despite the age difference, the two were very close and she was greatly upset when her brother disappeared while away on business. When she reached adulthood, Aro now a vampire approached her and gave her the option to join the ranks of immortals. She agreed and he turned her. After her transformation, she had the gift to make those around her very happy.
Her gift caused many people fall in love with her but she turned them all down except Marcus. Something about him drew her in and they became a mated pair.
For centuries, they were very happy together until they were attacked by enemies and Didyme lost her life to a werewolf bite. Her death along with Caius close call started the war against werewolves.
