Issac Alexander Locke (b. 1896: Sweden - May 21, 1965), was a power sensing former nomadic vampire who practiced vegetarianism as a member of the North Dakota Coven.
During his human life, Issac was exposed to the horrors of World War I as a lieutenant in the Swedish Army; despite not having been placed on the battlefront. He was married to a woman by the name of Lauren Anderson; a nurse in the Swedish Military and with her had two children; Laurence and Lorelei Locke. While married to Lauren, Issac had had an affair with a young woman known as Jennifer Watson and had an illegitimate child with her; Kennedy Watson.
Angered by his affair, Lauren filed for divorce from her husband of four years and took custody of their two children. Heartbroken by being left from his family, Issac was sent to Germany with the ambassador from Sweden during the end of the war. While there, Issac was injured in an automobile and had been nearly crushed to death before he was found by nomadic vampire; Stefan Ainsworth and was sired into a vampire.
Stefan and Issac traveled throughout Europe and came across the North Dakota Coven; whose members; Serena and Ryan became the objects of affection for Stefan and Issac. Issac left Stefan, who did not wish to join the coven, and became the husband of Ryan St.Martin. Stefan eventually joined them later as Serena's husband and co-leader of the coven.
Unbeknownst to him, Issac's ex-wife had been changed into a vampire by Maria; leader of the Mexican Coven and wanted revenge on Issac for having an affair with another woman while married to her.
Entertained with the idea, Maria launched a battle onto the coven, who were staying in Georgia, and had unintentional drawn the attention of the Louisiana Coven; lead by Serena's ex-husband; Louis Chevalier and all three covens were dragged into an all out war. During the battle, Issac was killed by Lauren in revenge for all his actions and she in turn was destroyed by Ryan; Issac's second wife.
His death impacted the North Dakota Coven and Ryan so hard that they possessed such an intense hatred of the Mexican Coven that it extended to Jasper Whitlock; an ex-member of the coven who had journeyed with his mate; Alice Cullen and joined the Olympic Coven.
