Born on 1800, Penelope lived with her parents and her older brothers in Charlestown. Sometimes her father would read her bedtime stories, but sometimes about vampires. It was possible that her father met a vampire before, but she never believed it. When she turned ten, her mother takes her out in the town. Eventually, she gets separated from a crowd of people. This was when she met Mary-Bella Witten. Penelope tried to ask her if she could find her mother, and Mary-Bella told her that she was over there. She turned and didn't realize that she knew her mother very quick.
Mary-Bella spent nearly seven years in her teenage life until everything changes. Penelope came down by a terrible fever, and the doctors were trying hard to help her. Penelope was scared to die, but her mother always gave her comfort about moving on to heaven. Penelope was happy, and wanted to die peacefully until Mary-Bella appears to her room. Penelope was confused of how she got in the house. Mary-Bella didn't say one word. Instead, she leans down and turns Penelope into a vampire.
